The Secret To Ceasing To Strive

1 Kings 8:11 "so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the ?glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord. " It amazes me that we (I enclude myself in this) so often decide to strive in our lives instead of just living in the presence of God. Our hearts prefer to "do it ourselves" than to trust in God and obey his commands for our lives (which is always best for us). In Solomon's time, the Glory of the Lord filled the temple to the point where the people just had to stop and worship. I've been in that place at times, but I believe we should reside in that place with God, after all, from a new testament perspective, we are now the house of God on earth, and as such he wants to fill us to the point where all our human efforts cease, and we just start trusting in God. We need to have our minds freed from the belief that we have to do it all ourselves and instead only do what God tells us to do, for God is the best time manager in Universe and our lives will be so much more fulfilled if we follow His path for us.
