About Us

Adrian is a testimony to God's ability to use anyone, he was born as out of wedlock and due to the racial tensions of the late 60's his parents only lasted together for a couple of years.

After the separation of his parents, Adrian and his mother had several years where they struggled on the breadline, until his mother remarried.

From that point on Adrian had no contact from his real father, and was brought up by his mother and step father, times continued to be tough financially throughout his childhood, but Adrian became increasingly disturbed due to his broken family background and found himself getting into trouble more and more at both school and home.

Adrian had a feisty character, a trait that his parents didn't know how to deal with, so they resorted to dealing with Adrian harshly, including often canning him until the canes broke over his legs and cut him, the scares of which he still bears on his legs today.

Despite the harsh discipline, Adrian continued to get into trouble, and was referred to a child Social Worker, who eventually after he was expelled from school, arranging for him to be sent to firstly a child Psychiatric unit and then the equivalent of Borstal for under 12's near Epping Forest, Hertfordshire.

This proved to be the worst time in his life, where he was a regular witness to children being beaten up by the staff and one of the male teachers tried to take advantage of him. Adrian fought off the advances for which he suffered at the hands of the member of staff for the rest of his time there.

He was eventually released from the school, after much fighting on behalf of his local vicar, Fred Meager, and a group of saintly nuns, who ran a local primary school.

At Saint Catherine's of Sienna, Adrian had some of the best years of his life. "They were true saints" he remembers, "my memories of that time are of nothing but love, those women made a huge impact in my life and I believe largely are responsible for my faith today".

On leaving St Catherine's Adrian went to senior school, where he encountered bullying and racial abuse, "The answer I learnt at that time was to fight, I discovered I had a temper on me that could get me out of most trouble, and ended up spending the rest of my teens in and out of fights".

Up until the age of fourteen Adrian regularly went to church, and loved reading the bible, but was informed by his vicar that God didn't do any miracles anymore and that the gifts of the Spirit died after the bible had been written. This left him downhearted and he quickly lost interest in the bible and God, "What is the point - God is dead - isn't He?" he thought. Adrian then went on a downhill slop in firstly increasing his interest in fighting, then girls and finally drugs.

It was on one of these drug trips that Adrian started to wake up, he was in a friend's car driving down the M1, doing over 100mph, all the people in the car were high on drugs, including the driver, and were driving down the motorway looking out the sunroof, at the effects of the drugs had on the street lights above us, at that point Adrian realised he was on the point of killing himself.

At that same time, a friend of his had started going to a church that believed in God doing amazing things. That church was St Andrew's Church Chorleywood.

Hearing of the strange things that God was doing, and still open deep down that the God of the bible was real, Adrian decided to invite himself along to the church.

It was at that service that God met with him in a powerful way and changed his life, within a week Adrian had been soundly converted through the ministry of JJohn, and now he travels around the UK and Overseas training the church in the Prophetic and Prophetic Evangelism.

Adrian and his family have made Soul Survivor Watford their home church, where he is under the leadership of Mike Pilavachi, whom he has known and respected for over 20 years..
